Sean Michael Stafford

Sean Michael Stafford was born June 6, 1986 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly November 26, 2023. 

He was a sensitive, caring man who loved his wife and his family.  He was married to Tabatha Stafford on February 2, 2022. They bought a house that April and shared a very loving, but too brief life together. 

Sean was a creative and talented musician who sang and played several instruments; he especially enjoyed playing his acoustic guitar. He liked to play video games that challenged his intelligence and ability to strategize.  He loved watching Gordon Ramsey cooking shows, and he was an excellent cook, producing amazing meals.  He loved movies and aspired to be a voice actor and could imitate any voice or character. 

Sean graduated from Upper Arlington High School, was active in the marching band, and enjoyed his involvement in activities at Northwest Christian Church.  He was a friend to many.  All who knew him loved him and loved his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Tabatha Stafford and stepson Tyler Daily; mother Laura Stafford and step-father Eugene Frye; father Michael Stafford and step-mother Janice Kelley-Stafford; mother- in-law Debbie Christensen; paternal grandfather Howard Stafford and wife Elaine; maternal grandmother Ramona Sutton; step-grandfather Arthur “Skip” Komorowski; brothers Jason and Jeffrey Stafford and sister-in-law Molin Stafford; step-siblings Heather, Erin, Rob and Joe; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

The family is asking for prayers as they grieve.  Please join us in celebrating the life of Sean Stafford and supporting his family during this difficult time. He will forever be missed.

Service details are below:

Visitation at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home (1177 West 5th Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212) on Saturday, December 2, from 9:30 to 11:30. A brief service will follow at 11:30. We will plant a tree in his memory at a later time.
